While still working as a nurse, Ruben has served as youth director at First Biblical Baptist Church in Palmetto from 2010 to 2017.
In August 2016, Ruben started feeling a sense of calling to full-time ministry after God spoke to him through a dream while celebrating his tenth wedding anniversary in Cancun, Mexico. After extensive fasting and praying, Ruben started attending the divinity program at Regent University where he obtained his Masters in Practical Theology and Marketplace Ministry in May of 2020.
Empower Culture Church is a life-giving church with the vision of meeting people where they are and empowering them to journey through a life of purpose.
